The classic YourZone45 workout is split into several blocks, each one comprising of a 4-to-9 minute routine with rests in between. WHAT MAKES YOURZONE DIFFERENT?
Most regular gyms simply give you an induction (if you are lucky) and leave you get on with whatever you signed up for. YourZone45 is very different. You are personally guided through each fun, motivating session by and well qualified and enthusiastic trainer. Each workout is focused on our heart rate system and the philosophies of The After Burn Effect and EPOC. The trainer can coach you to the level of intensity that will deliver your maximum fitness and weight loss results.
You simply book in for a session, get trained, and then begin to see changes to your body and fitness.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AFTERBURN EFFECT?
The After Burn Effect is essentially the calories you continue to burn after exercising. While many people primarily pay attention to the number of calories they burn during exercise, the After Burn Effect is a whole other, highly important component to calorie-burning too.
Our bodies use up extra energy (calories) after certain workouts to help us recover, cool down and deal with the hormonal changes that the exercise produced. The scientific name for this process is excess post-exercise oxygen consumption or EPOC for short.

DO I HAVE TO ALWAYS WEAR MY HEART RATE MONITOR?
Yes, the heart rate monitor is integral to the YZ45 programme. It allows you and your trianer to constantly monitor how hard your heart is working to ensure that each workout is safe and effective and that you are working at the correct level of intensity to maximise your results.
In addition, the results from the monitor will automatically download to your MyZone account at the end of each session, so that you can access your results and review your progress on the YZ45 app.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN EACH SESSION?
Each YourZone45 studio varies in size, but generally, each session will cater for between one and 24 people. Although everyone is trained in a group, the heart rate system means each member can train to their own personal goals under the watchful and motivating eye of your trainer.
WILL I EVER HAVE TO QUEUE FOR EQUIPMENT?
Absolutely not. Every YourZone45 session is pre-booked so the number of members per workout are managed. In each session you will have your own individual training area so you will always be active unless you are in a rest interval!
WHEN DO SESSIONS RUN?
There are set times for YourZone45 sessions throughout the day. Each studio operates between 40 - 60 sessions a week, there's a time slot to suit every lifestyle. To find out when your studio session times are check the timetable at your studio of choice.
HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION?
In Person: The best way to book your next session is at the end of the last one. You are less likely to change your plans if you have already committed to your next workout.
Online: You can also book your session by saving your studio's booking URL to your smart phone home page and use it to book at the click of a button, anytime. If you have any problems, just ask your coach to show you how.

HOW DOES EACH SESSION WORK?
Each session begins with a warm up, followed by a workout split in to chunks of cardio, functional and resistance interval training. Your heart rate monitor helps you to work to the best of your ability. You get into Your Zone. The session finishes with a stretch and cool down.
Every element of the session is guided by our qualified coaches. At YourZone45 you will never get the same workout twice. This means you will never get bored, you're always motivated, and your muscles stay confused, which makes for an all-round better workout (and better results).
